I followed your directions as above, what I did is this, I opened Navigraph FMS and clicked on settings and scrolled down to X-Plane, I then typed in X-Plane/output/FMS plans,I then opened Navigraph Cloud Charts and then clicked on the flight plan and selected export, I then opened X-Plane/output/fms plans and yes the flight plan was there, I then opened x-plane and clicked on flight plans in the 530 but there was no flight plans at all, Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi There

Many thanks for the quick reply,I am a little confused, in the first answer you said the resulting files is saved into Xplane/output/fms plans, in the second answer you are saying that the latest airac cycle 1907 should be in Custom Scenery Folder, all I need to know is when I open Navigraph and select settings and then scroll down to X-plane 11 what folder should I type in. The file format in output / fms plans do end with .fms.

Hi Tony

Sorry, my mistake, I should have said that all airac cycle data from Navigraph should go into the Custom Data folder, not the Custom Scenery folder, doh. My first lengthy response is correct, the second response is in error as far as this point is concerned.

On the other point though, all created flight plans whether written in Navigraph or Simbrief, all go into the Output/FMS Plans folder.

Apologies again for the confusion, I'm actually on vacation trying to do this from memory!

Regards

Paul

Hi there

Firstly and further to your original question on updating Navigraph data into X-Plane 11 and my lengthy reply on June 21 (which wasn't acknowledged?), presumably you have now installed the latest airac cycle data into your Custom Scenery folder?

If so and secondly, please advise the file format of your flight plans in the Output/fms plans folder? All files should end with *.fms

Hi Tony

Just got home from vacation and had a go at exporting a flight plan from Navigraph Charts directly into X-Plane 11/Output/FMS Plans.

Whilst the file was successfully saved where it was supposed to be, I noticed that Navigraph Charts had not saved the file with the appropriate file extension of .fms.

When I tried again, I simply typed .fms after the file name and it saved the file properly and in the correct format within the Output/FMS Plans folder!!

Might be worth a try?
