Hello,

I have the digital version of X-Plane 11 and the latest version. I have it since 3 days.

Since the download of all the sceneries is very long, I don't want to wait and keep it everytime (because I won't be able to go on the internet anymore and my Internet connection is not the greatest, 220 hours of doawnload). I've downloaded one region (Idian Ocean), it worked, but then I decided to  download an another region (Europe). When I've load Idian Ocean region while dowloading the European region, there was no more scenery. It means that everytime I want to download a region, it delets the previous ones.

If you have an idea to help me or you had the same problem be sure to answer me.

Quentin.

HI Quentin,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from down under.

The bad news is when you run the digital version of X-Plane you have to be connected to the internet at all times.  The software performs a silent check to determine that you are not running two copies at the same time and also performs a check that your have a legal copy.

If not connected at all times you may be able to run a couple of flights but eventually you will be shut down and asked for the product key again.  The possible outcome being restricted to "demo mode"

On the basis you are running the genuine, original and official version of X-Plane from Laminar Research and not a 3rd party modified hybrid version from another source then please attach your log.txt file.  Others with a greater knowledge base than me may be able to sight the cause of the problem.

The file is generated immediately after a crash or a formal shut down.  To attach the file refer to the following link found at https://questions.x-plane.com/?qa=blob&qa_blobid=17830136656522860642

Good luck.

Glenn

Thanks for your answer. Here is my log. I have one more question. Is it possible to copy and paste my Global Scenery file in a back up one and then copy the sceneries of the back up file and paste them in the Global scenery file ?

Quentin,

I have had a look at your log.txt file and I am unable to offer a solution to your overall problem.  In the meantime I will ask one of my contacts within Laminar Research to have a look at the problem.

In relation to the "cut and paste" I suggest you try it.  If it works good luck.
