Shiny, chrome-like surfaces in x-plane 11.35.

Question

I am using x-plane 11.35.  I am running Windows 10 Pro with the latest updates.  The video card in an EVGA GTX 1070Ti FTW with the latest driver.  Today, when booting up the sim, all of my aircraft have shiny, chrome-like surfaces...even the cloth seat covers in the seats.  Yesterday, when using the sim, all was fine.  What's going on?

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from down under.

Not in a position to delve further into your problem at this stage.  But try a full shut down and after a few minutes start X-Plane again to see if it occurs again.
