Rudder and yoke are coupled

Question

After I updated my game, every time i try to roll the plane, the rudder also moves too. This makes it much more difficult to fly with the rudder constantly moving every time i turn the yoke. I am using an xbox one controller. I have tried a bunch of different things but I can't seem to be able to find the solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Neil,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from down under.

How have you configured your Xbox? Does it have a USB2 connection.? Has it been configured within X-Plane?

If not then you need to do so.   Firstly you need to remove all files within the configuration and connection of your xbox to X-Plane.  When done have a look at the following link found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU_TuALAlJk  Consider the message and the methodology required.  View the video several times to understand the message.  Forget about the product be used.

Alternatively consider the manual found at https://x-plane.com/manuals/desktop/#configuringandtuningyourx-planeinstallation  or even use Dr Google for a search on  "configuring xbox controller within X-Plane"  I found many sites on how to do it.

Now if you have configured within X-Plane then I would suggest starting again as I am of the opinion that you have configured two or more buttons or levers to the one assignment or you have configured two or more assignments to a single button or lever.
