It won't let me update

Question

I had to reinstall x plane 11 from C D  it says there is an up date, when I try to download the installer after a short while it says unable to download from net. Everything else downloads fine, any ideas ?

Hi there

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but a couple of questions:-

1. Are you trying to download XP11 via the Installer app, directly from the LR website, or some other third party website?

2. Have you got DVD Disc No 1 in the DVD ROM drive at all times, as this needs to be accessible by XP11 for it to run and/or update?

Yes I am using L R installer it try's to connect ti HIGHWINDS CDN gets to 25% and can' seem to download anymore of the installer and I have got the CD in the drive ( but I did have to check )

I have just cleaned disk 1 but it's still the same.
