my flight controls freeze but in joystick tab under options all is fine, any idea??

Question

i will be flying at FL390 for example and my flight controls will just stop working.. i even would try to drag around the yoke on screen and it moves but the plane doesn't move anything... my throttle works though.

any help would be awesome!

Hi there

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK with a couple of basic questions to get started:-

1. Does this issue occur in all aircraft types or just one type? If the latter, which aircraft?

2. Does the issue only occur at high altitude or at any altitude, including at ground level i.e. flight control check before take off?

3. What flight control devices are you using?

4. Have you installed any software drivers into your operating system for these devices?

2. Does the issue only occur at high altitude or at any altitude, including at ground level i.e. flight control check before take off? at any altitude, including at ground level i.e. flight control check before take off but it's rare because the sim was just started... it seems it takes a bit.. 

3. What flight control devices are you using? Thrustmaster T1600m

4. Have you installed any software drivers into your operating system for these devices? not aware i did

I'm not sure which operating system you are using, but it may be a good idea to look at the list of programs installed on your PC, just to make certain there are no device drivers installed for Thrustmaster? If there are, please uninstall them immediately.

Either way, can you confirm if the photos below show the flight controller you are using i.e. the Thrustmaster T16000M?

If it is, have you calibrated it within XP11 itself, on the joystick settings page?
