http://questions.x-plane.com/?qa=blob&qa_blobid=8875064901093077940 -> the log.txt

So, everything is normal when I am in the default menu. I can easily set up everything for the flight. But when I spawn at the airport, the plane freezes for a few seconds, then jumps into the air, and crashes back down on to the ground, breaking my landing gear and I have to start a new flight. It also does something called adjusting skid height?

Hi XK205

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK.

I am a tad confused about the title of your post, which states "Problem with X-Plane 11.40r1", whereas your Log.txt file states "log.txt for X-Plane 10.51r2 (build 105101 64-bit)"??

Which version of XP11 are you running?

Further, upon reading your Log.txt file, it seems as though XP11 ceased recording data with the following entry:-

0:00:19.407 I/ACF: Loading airplane number 0 with Aircraft/OpenMeAndRead/320_JARDesign/a320neo.acf
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: | I tried to open the following plane, but could not:
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: | Aircraft/OpenMeAndRead/320_JARDesign/a320neo.acf
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: | This smacks of a corrupted airplane file, or a file that is not REALLY an airplane file, or a missing airplane file altogether!
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: | I will open the default plane now so you can still fly though.
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: | (init_pln.cpp:889)
0:00:26.661 E/SYS: +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clearly there is a compatibility issue with the JARDesign A320neo and the version of X-plane that you are using, be it 10 or 11??

Lastly I note that you appear to be using Microsoft One Drive as part of your XP installation. One Drive is a 'cloud storage service' that allows the storage of files 'off PC', which shouldn't be the case here.

All of the XP file structure should be located directly on your desktop or on your local hard drive i.e. C:\X-Plane 11.

Your thoughts please?

Sorry about that. This was from my old PC and X-Plane 10 software. I am running 11.36r2 now. Here is the X-Plane 11 log.txt file: http://questions.x-plane.com/?qa=blob&qa_blobid=9981999153581488394 I checked my OneDdrive once more, and the reason why X-Plane 11 is so-called on OneDrive is because I put X-Plane on my desktop and it recognizes my desktop as part of my OneDrive. Otherwise, it is located on my C:\ drive(which is an SSD).

Hi there

I've had a look through your latest Log.txt file and to say that the data entries look very strange, is something of an understatement!

Basically there are circa 25,000 entries like this:-

time=    98.5, RECV label=BECN from IP=192.168.178.76-49707, length after packaging removal=34 Private-message parse, RECV label=BECN, len=34

followed by a further 1,500 entries like this:-

frame=  16 OGL=  0.017 CPU=  0.000, GPU=  0.000   epr3->epr4=  16

This is most unusual and not something that I have personally seen in all of the XP11 Log.txt files that I've look at!!

I have however carried out some research and found one other simmer that has experienced almost exactly the same problem, and that was an issue with the LiveTraffic plugin.

I would therefore suggest in the first instance that you copy and paste the LiveTraffic plugin file to somewhere safe outside of the XP11 file structure to see if this make any difference?

At the same time, it may be worth you making sure that you have the very latest drivers installed for your GeForce GTX1060 graphics card.

Let me know how you get on?

Regards
