How do I have ai traffic appear?

I opened aircraft  and situations and increased number to 20, no traffic appears.  Ive click both save all and randomize and still no other planes.

I suspect you have previously used a plugin for online flying that has affected it. If XSquawkBox, for example, is installed at all, it will not allow any of the AI planes to appear as it is waiting for online players. You can disable it by going to the in-sim plugins menu > Plugin Admin > enable/disable & unchecking the box.
