Using other apps on mac

can I load other apps like safari while running the xplane app without quitting xplane? I would like to go to weather sites as well as navigation sites for flight planning

Yes, you can use other programs at the same time. Make sure X-Plane is not full screen (windowed mode) and you can adjust its size so you can see the other programs. Your monitor will need to be bigger than X-Plane's minimum resolution (1024x768).
