error while installing in disc 3

Question

it took 3 days and yet disc 3 not passed!!

error copying some system files are opened then appearing cancel or continue!!!

so always i am clicking continue

just purchased the x-plane 10 last 2 weeks from amazon us is it possible maybe the dvd corrupted???

Hi q8vette,

You can always add more scenery at a later time if it is taking too long.

You say you are having errors with system files, which makes me think X-Plane is not installed to the desktop, but the file path looks right in the log.txt.

Please make sure the X-Plane.exe is in the X-Plane 10 folder.

Otherwise please make sure X-Plane is installed or moved to the desktop. Then right-click the X-Plane folder and open the Properties window. Go to the Security section and make sure the folder is writable to you. Also make sure the various folders inside the X-Plane folder are writable to you. (The description is approximate because of version to version variations in the Windows user interface.)
