I down loaded update today and now my Mac freezes on the page, "launch X-Plane Now"

Question

When I launched X-Plane today, I was asked if I wanted to update the software and I said yes.  Following the update, I was sent to the Launch Screen Now, clicked fly now - the screen changed to the enter product key, which was already populated and froze.

10.50 has a lot of issues with the preference files. Please try going to the Output folder, preferences folder, and then deleting X-Plane Screen Res.prf.

If that doesn't entirely fix it, try renaming your entire preferences folder.
