Hi rog,

Can you upload a log.txt from one of the times it crashed? It sounds like you have been able to start the sim, so the installer log doesn't give as much potentially helpful information.

Please remove plugins/addons/etc (I see HSAIRXPL-Mac-64.xpl  in the log). Please attach a copy of your original Apple crash report found in user/Libraries/Logs/DiagnosticReports. You may have to show hidden files to access the user Library.

There you go _ I removed all plugins - same thing happened 3 times!

The crash reports will end in .crash.

You can also try moving, renaming or deleting your preferences to see if that helps.

Hi - deleted prefeernces - made no difference. Did a complete reload. All working fine EXCEPT left and right arrow keys not working (they work outside x-plane) tried deleting key preferences - no joy. Tried another reload, still the same. Tried assigning different keys to pan left or right, still not working?

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Double check what view you're using. If you are using the default, you are most likely in 2D cockpit which only lets you scroll the panel up or down. Try using Shift + 9 to use 3D cockpit or C to get the free camera which you can move around anywhere you want.

Hi again- thanks for 3d info - that worked. Unfortunately, everything worked fine for a couple of go's, then using autopilot and adjusting speed heading or in FMC mode  on two occasions it crashed 10 miles out at about 2500 feet and 180 speed landing at different airports? I also noticed when in FMC mode it detected TOC, but did not detect TOD (I had adjusted altimeter down before reaching TOD)

Any ideas please, its getting very frustrating! Would downloading the digital version rather than using discs help, or waiting for 11?

Thanks

rog
