Can version 10 dongles be programmed for version 11?

Question

I purchased the dongle along with version 10 back in August and just missed the cutoff for the free software upgrade but what about the dongle?  Once I buy and install version 11, can I download and install the software for the dongle or do I have to buy a new dongle?

Don't know where I got the term "Dongle" but what I am referring to is the USB keys and "HASP" drivers - if I have my terms correct.

I don't believe we will be selling the USB dongles for the home use version of X-Plane 11. (There may still be use USB keys, especially Pro keys--we're still working all the USB details out.) If you buy X-Plane 11 and don't want to keep DVD 1 in the drive, I would recommend switching to the digital download version if you can.
