I have a brand new computer (HP) and I want to know if I can play XP11 without it freezing. I don't know much about computers so I'm sorry if I messed up. Big fan of XP but I want to know if my computer can handle. Thank you.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3041GHz

Graphics card: Intel HD graphics 530

Windows 10

11.9 GB of ran usable

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor.

Is this computer a laptop or a desktop?

To effectively run X-Plane 10 'smoothly', it is extremely, heavily recommend that you buy a computer or/and upgrade to a dedicated graphics card or chip. Integrated graphics will, unfortunately, not really do the job you might be looking for.

Hi,

The answer is no UNLESS you upgrade

The only thing that's wrong is your graphics card.  Intel HD cards are VERY bad for X-Plane. Get a Nvidia or AMD card. Your cooling must be very good as well to run XP. Try the X-Plane 10 demo on your system to see if it can cope. That will determine if you can attempt to run XP 11.

My Specs

Intel I7 4770k @3.5 ghz

16 GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 970 4gb VRAM

MSI Z87 G41 Motherboard

256 gb SSD

Windows 10 64bit

650 watt PSU

I get 25-30+ FPS
