Problem error 2:404 while installing x-plane 10/11

Question

Hello, i am buy x-plane 10/11 and installation clien send a message: technical problem was error 2:404. What i must do?

I am changing the windows compatibility to windows 8

 Now i have another problem: While authentication process is starting i getting error mesage "authentication server could not be reached" and same error 2:404

I was having this problem on Windows 10 and I solved it.

Apparently either Windows Defender or my own anti-virus program was preventing installation.  I turned these off and now the installation is proceeding, it's not done yet but at least it is proceeding.

Hmm, this seems like a newer one! Can you please elaborate on the point of the installation process that this occurred? Thank you.

Please make sure you are using the latest installer available from X-Plane.com. Double check your internet connection. You might give it some time to see if it's a temporary problem then try again. If it continues to happen please attach your X-Plane installer log.txt (found on the desktop) and tell us what country you're located in.

I check internet connection-no problem and i am use the latest version of installer

According your installer log.txt, it seems X-Plane (or some partial form of it) is already installed onto your computer. In this case, the Demo might be conflicting.

Since you are trying to install the full version, you might as well completely uninstall and remove the Demo version from your system. This will avoid possible file conflicts.

Once that is done, run the installer and insert the discs in order, starting with 1.

This is not a complete log. It does not show any errors in it. If you encounter the error and cannot continue the install (sometimes you can skip files if they time out) please quit the installer completely then attach a log.
