How does real weather work? If tell the sim to download real-time weather and disable the option will it still load weather in relevant places? A good example is if I fly from San Francisco to Los Angeles with weather updated only at the start will the weather be as it should in LA or is the weather stuck at the current SF weather?

If you download real weather, then disable it, the weather will reflect what the METAR reported at the time it was downloaded. So in your example, downloading the weather while in SF will update weather for everywhere--SF will have it's weather, as will LA. But if it takes you a few hours to get to LA, the weather will be LA's weather from earlier. It will not reflect any changes made during the hours in between.

Thank you for the explanation. I thought that by disabling match real world conditions will also disable real world weather? Sorry my question above was a bit misleading since I forgot that's it's called match real world weather instead of download real world weather.

Regards.
