Second copy of X-Plane 11 - Transfer from 1st PC to second?

Question

I want to buy a second copy of 11 for my nephew. He has a very slow internet connection whereas I have a fast connection. Can I simply backup my installation to an external drive and copy to his PC and enter the 2nd key? Or is it more complicated?

The best solution is to install your copy of X-Plane 11. But you can copy files from backup and then run again installer (setup) to scan existing files and/or make reinstall.
