how to get version 10

Question

I bought x-plane version 11 and understood that it would also entitle me to version 10, hopefully in a box set of CDs. How do I get version 10 as I don't see any link to it on the website. Or maybe I am misunderstanding the offer?

If you bought the download version of 11 with 10 included you should be able to download 10 and use the code that you got for 11 with 10 as well.  You will not be getting a set of DVDs.

If you have bought "X-Plane 11 Digital Download" here then this is the digital download edition of X-Plane 11 (also include access to the X-Plane 10 digital download). You will not be shipped any disks. Instead, you will be given a link to download X-Plane 11 as well as a product key to activate the download. This product key will work for both X-Plane 10 and 11 so that you can fly Version 10 while X-Plane 11 is completed.
