Unable to install X-Plane 11 Demo

Question

I've downloaded the executable for the demo (X-Plane 11 Installer.exe), but get this error message:

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Window you're running." I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on a 32-bit operation system.

I've attached the log file which, interestingly enough, has "Windows 6.1" listed, which is incorrect.

I'm willing to just go ahead and purchase the program, if that would work.

Please do not purchase the program, because the demo will function exactly the same way as the full simulator! The only difference in the demo is the time & scenery limits.

X-Plane 11 is only compatible with 64bit operating systems, so I suspect the installer is as well. We support Windows 7, but not the 32bit version.
