XP11 Download fails- Unable to read from a zip file (short read error) + other Zip errors

Question

I am trying to download XP11 with the installer. Every time however around 2 minutes into the download it gives me some sort of Zip error (short read, Error 5-5, CRC). I have tried redownloading the installer twice (and validating the archive), Disabling antivirus (Avira), restarting the PC, all to no avail. My Install log-

Any help would be appreciated.

I am also getting this error. I have contacted x-plane several times and still no luck. That's $60 down the drain.

I have not seen this error before. Please make sure you are installing X-Plane 11 to the desktop to avoid issues with permissions.
