If I can't use it on more than one of my computers, is it possible to deauthorize it and remove it from one computer and install it again on another?

Yes, you may install X-Plane on a second computer. If you have any problems with your digital download authorization when doing so, please contact support at [email protected] with the last 8 digits of your product key to verify it has not been locked inadvertently.

Thanks. Do you know if it's possible to de-authorize an old computer if I upgrade to a new one?

It's not the computer that's receiving authorization, it's the product key. So you don't need to worry about un-authorizing an old computer in order to use a new one. You still have the same valid product key.
