X plane not finding global scenery

Question

My Plane 10.51 cannot find global scenery that I know I have loaded. The global scenery map shows that I have it loaded but when I startup and position in particular areas (typically north and south of the US) it can't seem to find it. I can find the particular folders that x plane is looking for just fine and they are where they belong. How can I fix this?
