Why does x plane 11 autopilot not listen to me and does not work?

when I set my altitude to 10000 and vert speed to 1500, The autopilot will not work. Can anybody help me?

The questioner is correct. You can use ALT on the autopilot to hold the current altitude. You can use VS to set a climb or descent rate. But you cannot set a rate to reach a set altitude. That function works in X-Plane 10. In my experience, it does not work in 11.

I read through the instructions that is the procedure I follow, but the autopilot blows through the desired altitude, both add-on a/c and the standard a/c?
