Why am I seeing the runway environment through overcast clouds in XP11 demo?

I reported this issue in XP 10. Am I the only who is experiencing it again in XP 11 demo? I can see the airport rotating beacon (which I have in sight from tens of miles away because of the awful halo effect), runway etc. when configuring the sim to cumulus overcast conditions and a ceiling of 200 AGL. Granted XP 11 is still in a demo state, I would like this fixed so I have a reason to purchase the full version.

We have multiple open bugs on this, and we are still tuning the clouds so we plan to have this improved before X-Plane 11 is final.
