X-plane disappeared from my iMac and I tried to download again but it would not, how can I re-load it?

I purchased it about a month ago and played it several times.

I haven't played it in a couple weeks.  I went to play it today but it was no where to be found.

I tried to re-download with the original purchase key but it wouldn't let me.

Can you be more detailed about how it won't let you? Does the installer show it's already installed somewhere? Or does your product key get rejected?

I have same problem and it thinks its installed to my desktop but there are no files on my Mac that are attached to x-plane. the installer takes me direct to extra scenery install.
