How can I assign a button on my Saitek stick as a push to talk in xplane 11

I can't assign a button on my joystick as a push to talk I have correctly installed all the relevant plugins but nothing works can't get any action with VATSIM even though I am connected nothing seems to work I need a step by step instruction on how to use squeak box (for dummies)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

By default, "contact ATC" is assigned to the return key. You can assign that same command to a joystick button. When using networking the command changes to a chat function instead of bringing up the flight plan box.
