I just purchased X-Plane for Mac, and noticed that the downloader installed 2 app files : X-plane.app and X-plane 32bit.app.

As my Mac is an Intel Core i5, am I correct that it will run the 64-bit version ?

If so, then is it OK to delete the 32-bit version ?

Thanks,

Gary

I'm running the 64 bits version. I'm on an iMac i5 too from late 2012 early 2013. Discarding the 32-bits version is enough.

Just a heads up: if you delete the 32 bit version of the app, any time you update X-Plane the installer will put it back. It's considered a default file and will always alert the installer if it's not found (renamed, moved, etc).
