i bought x plane 10 and cant install it

You should check your licence key. If you have bought X-Plane here you can now install both X-Plane 10 or X-Plane 11 with the same licence key.

in the installation process, I must have overlooked the license key.  I cannot find it in my Email either.  Please advise how I can get it.

If you have an invoice (from here) you should have an activation code. The digital download product key is only provided in the purchase confirmation that is emailed after completing your purchase. Check your spam folder. If there is no email then contact X-Plane suport at [email protected] or Customer Service at [email protected], otherwise contact your local reseller.
