Cannot quit X-Plane, AppHangB1 issue

Question

Greetings. My problem is simple: when I try to quit XP 11 (b15) the application freezes and I cannot even kill it with Process Explorer tool - making hard reset to my PC. Error message shows the same all the time:

My system is Win7x64, GTX970, current NV driver version is 378.92. X-Plane is 11 beta 15 - clean, nothing installed over.

I tried to reinstall graphic driver several times (I mean clean installations), disabled DEP function in the OS, put XP folder in exclusion list to my firewall and did run application with Administrator rights. Nothing helped so far, hope you can help me sort it out.

You can try running the System File Checker tool and see if that resolves your issue. To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
1. Click the Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
2. Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
3. At the command prompt, type the following line, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow

This gave no result. Just tried to quit - and X-Plane is still in the list of running items. Most suspicious to me - why I can't kill it with my task manager?

You can check errors in Event Viewer. Event Viewer is a tool that displays detailed information about significant events on your computer. Event Viewer can be helpful when troubleshooting problems and errors with Windows and other programs like X-Plane. To run Event Viewer:
1. Open the Start Menu, type eventvwr.msc, and press Enter.
2. If you are logged in as an administrator and prompted by UAC, then click on Yes.
3. In the left pane, click on an event log to see it's events listed at the top of the middle pane.
4. If you like, you could also right click on an event log in the left pane for more options to use. For example, to Filter Current Log or Find a specific event ID number listed in the middle pane.

Assuming no overclocking before, you can also try reinstalling an older video drivers for NVidia.
