Stopped after downloar plugins

Question

X-plane.exe has stopped working. A problem with installing the plugin that I downloaded causes an error message. Down to the left it says:
Will inititaliaze plugins --- but all is stop.
Do I need to install a new copy of an x-plane?

Please try removing all plugins then running the installer and picking the "update" option to repair any damaged default files.
