Pilot Controlled Lighting?

Does XP simulate pilot controlled lighting? would it be possible to add this feature in the future? it would be amazing and very realistic with the up coming non-towered ATC features for XP.

It looks like we've had a request for this in the past but it is not on our roadmap at this time.

Thread bump.

As a 1,200-hour private pilot, I'm really enjoying the X-Plane 11 sim, but lack of ARCAL is a glaring realism gap. I hope it makes it onto your roadmap soon.
