X-Plane_ won't _launch

Question

Hi,

X-Plane was working fine but I was experimenting with the rendering options and now it won't launch at all. How do I lower the settings if the program won't launch?

I managed to get it to launch by hitting the command key during startup. This gave me some options for launching it and one of them worked.

There is a last-ditch stopgap measure to help - you can delete your preferences, then X-Plane will make new ones when you launch it next. Note that this is at your own risk!

Navigate to

X-Plane 10\Output\preferences

Rename your X-Plane.prf to something else, like X-Plane.bak (for example).

Then try to start X-Plane again.
