Flyinside already has fantastic VR capabilities for X plane. However the default GPS is a nightmare and not many aircraft have support to put a touch screen GPS in the VC. Here is a demonstration of how frustrating using the VC GPS can be in VR.

The only way to operate it is to lift the VR goggles and use the popup on the monitor since the GPS 2D window does not appear in the goggles. BTW I intend to continue to use Flyinside if possible even after VR since it facilitates importing 2 D windows into the goggles which can be resized and repositioned. For instance I can have Twitch chat nestled on my passenger seat or charts or even Netflix for those long hauls.
