Does the demo version need to be erased before installing the boxed version?

I downloaded the demo version of X-Plane11. I would like to know if that demo version needs to be removed before installing but the DVD's?

Hi Billscpap,

I am not with Laminar Research.

I would delete the demo version before you install the DVD version.  This would avoid conflict between individual files within each version type.

Deep into older questions asked in this forum the same advice has been given
