Hello all,

**Update: The joystick/throttle set up works perfectly fine in X Plane 10**

I have a custom joystick setup that includes the throttle and the joystick in a single device. X Plane recognizes the joystick and shows axis movement when calibrating; however, the center point for the X and Y axes are at the 0 degree point and when moved to their maximum eccentricity, both end up in the middle. I believe this is causing a problem because the wheel starts out turning in a single direction and moving back and forth very rapidly to the min/max of the bar. Below is a video detailing the calibration issue.

Is there a way to make the starting point the center of the bar and have the value increase or decrease for left/right or up/down on the X and Y axes?

Hi, my guess would be : you should either recalibrate your joystick or change it. If the warranty still applies, you should go ahead and ask for a replacement of the device.

Well, it does work perfectly fine in X Plane 10 but the joystick mapping in X Plane 11 seems to be the problem.

Have you tried to delete or move for backup the following folder :
...\X-plane 11\Output\Preferences
You will then have to define all your settings again.
