Hello all,

I'm having some problems with my X-Plane 11, everytime I start a flight, with any plane, it don't turn on and simply stops working, and in the Cessna 172SP, shows some failures (as you can see on the print). Also, the instruments, some switches, the master key and the mixture don't move. I can only ear the Fuel pump sound and the magnetos sound. (I know that the steam version it's from a third party developer, but I just want to know if it's possible to solve this problem). Edit: I updated the version to the beta 11.35b5 and nothing.

Hi again

By reference to the photo below and just by using your mouse/cursor, can you operate any of the following items once you have loaded a Cessna 172 flight:-

1. Ignition Key

2. Battery switches

3. Light switches, fuel pump pitot heat

4. Avionics switches

5. Panel light switches

6. Throttle

7. Mixture

8. Flaps

Also, if you load a Cessna 172 flight with 'engine running' check box ticked, what happens then?

Regards

Hi GonAlex19

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer from the UK.

I've just launched X-Plane 11 and loaded the default Cessna 172 and using the mouse, I did the following:-

1. Turn on both master switches

2. Turn on both avionics switches

3. Set mixture to full

4. Set throttle to fast idle

5. Turned the ignition key...…… and the engine fired up without any difficulty.

Are you saying that in your version of X-Plane 11, you cannot do any of this?

But I can't turn on both master switches, or set the mixture to full, they simply don't move and I don't know why. I've tried to reinstall the X-Plane and do some research but my problem seems to be a bit rare. I also tried to use the beta version but without success. Some years ago I've tried the X-Plane 11 Demo and worked as expected.

There is checkbox in the customize menu of each plane, which reads "Start with engines running" or something like that. My x-plane is in spanish. I don't know if there is one in the general settings menu.

According to your pictures it looks like your plane is starting in cold and dark mode, i.e. avionics and engines off.

Regards.
