when I fly with for example the cessna 172 or the 737, every time when I come in to the flight everything is black. I have tried to start over X plane (11) but that dosent work.          PLEASE HELP MEEEEEE.        I HAVE A MAC

Attach a copy of the log.txt from the X-Plane folder.

If you installed X-Plane to the Applications folder, move it somewhere else. That is a protected location and since we use a proprietary installer, it can cause issues if X-Plane is installed in Applications.

I am having the same problem of a black screen when I load an aircraft in-game. How do I know if X Plane 11 is in the applications folder? Because the apps doesn't seem to be in it, but it still doesn't work.

The install location will be listed in the log.txt file in the main X-Plane folder. Uploading the log.txt will help the most.

There was a known issue with some screens in 11.20vr1 so that could also be your issue if you're using the beta.

ok here is part of the log, It says it's installed in deskstop, so I'm guessing that is not the problem.

I've seen issues like this in the past with Intel drivers, when rendering settings were set to HDR (visual effects slider) & using FXAA antialiasing.

Please try changing your rendering settings (probably lower--Intel GPUs are not very powerful) to see if that helps.

Thanks, the black screen went away. It turns out it was because it was on HDR, and my graphics card can't handle that.
