I bought X-plane 10, installed it, however whenever i load an aircraft in, black flickering lines/dots are at the bottom of the screen. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? Sometimes it is just black flickering dots and some other times it's lots of dots spread-out together at the bottom of the screen. It only happens when I start up X-plane 10. All my other applications are fine. When i searched the problem, people said the graphics is dying or heat related issue, but i bought a new graphics card and my cpu temp is fine! Should I reinstall X-plane or Windows 7? My graphics card is brand new and so is my psu. I don't think it is my monitor. My CPU temps are fine as well. Is this a bug? Also with my old graphics card (GTX 760 2gb) problem still occurred. I will install a second copy to see if the problem goes away. If not, what could be causing this to happen? I installed another copy of X-plane 10 and the problem has still not been resolved. Is my Motherboard going bad cause I have had it for almost 4 years

Side Note: I had 2 BSOD's the past 2 weeks so I might reinstall everything

Please upload a screenshot of the issue. There are a few things you could try:

  • Update your graphics driver if needed. Check online to see what the latest driver version is.
  • Does this happen with default planes as well as third party planes? What aircraft have you tried and seen it in?
  • Move the plugins folder to the desktop briefly to see if that helps. Then you can simply move it back if it doesn't.

Otherwise, due to your comment about experiencing BSODs, you might try to investigate if any other hardware is going bad like you thought.

Thanks for replying. When i get home, i can upload a screenshot and i will check those 3 points you mentioned. As for your question about experiencing it with default + payware, it happens with both. Payware = Flight Factor 777, default is C90b King Air along with a number of freeware aircraft. I tested it a John Wayne default airport and LAX (Mister X scenery) and San Francisco

(Mister X Scenery)

Thanks Again, I will check

I updated my graphics driver to the latest one but that didn't seem to fix the problem. Moving the plugins folder didn't fix it either. I will add a screenshot soon thanks
