I have a problem with Disc 1 of Xplane 11, version 11.0r1.

I have a new IMAC with SSD and am trying to download XPlane 11 from the disc set I got for Christmas.  The installation failed, had a problem and would not let me continue on the first disc.  Is there a way I can obtain the keycode so that I can download directly from the web?

Please make sure you are not installing X-Plane to the Applications folder as that location is known to cause problems with our installer.

Try using the latest installer from our website here and doing a new install. I'd recommend installing only a small bit of scenery first (you can always add more later) so you can get flying sooner. 

If that doesn't help, attach a copy of the installer log.txt from the desktop and a screenshot of the error for any further troubleshooting.
