Hi,

I have xplane 11.11 set up for months and all ok.  i5 6600k OC to 4.6, 2x gtx 1070 not in sli and not surround screen, 32 GB ram, all 3 monitors working for 120 degrees FOV.

All great at 45 to 65 FPS. Was running with NVidia driver 388.31, and yesterday I did a complete upgrade to 390.65 driver, due to other games not working correctly-I wish I didn't.

Now, I start xplane and crashes before fully loaded-bummer. Next copy log.txt file and have attached. Ok, delete all output/preferrences folder and restart.

Now starts up OK but only on 1(middle) screen. Go to graphics folder and the other 2 monitors are there but when I select full screen simulator on either outside monitors, xplane crashes again, and I have attached log(2).txt.

I re install NVidia driver 388.31 which worked perfect before my disaster, but still the same results. AAAAAHHHHHAHAHAH!!!!!!

What am I doing wrong or what have I missed. Very frustrating as I love doing daily flights on LAN with my brother.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

MM

Hmm...this seems like the type of issue clean default prefs would help with. You might try that again now that you're on the older driver again.

It looks like you use X-Plane through Steam so you should also verify the integrity of the game's files:

  1. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  2. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
  3. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

You might also move the plugins folder to the desktop temporarily to see if any of them are causing the issue.
