Loading Xplane and screen shudders then goes blank

XPlane11 was working fine last night. This morning I tried to open it and it starts as normal however when I gets to the home screen, the screen shudders and all of a sudden goes black. I have restarted computer and no joys. Any advice?

Happened to me also.  Ran it yesterday and today black screen and some stuttering.

Hi, can your try and delete (or move for backup) the entire ../X-Plane 11/Output/Preferences folder?
You will lose all your settings but it often solves such problems

Maybe this could also be related to a recent update of windows 10 or Nvidia driver. If you can, try to revert to an older version, see if it solves the problem.
