I was doing a flight from LEMD to LPPT. I was just in line with the runway 21 at 2500 ft. Suddenly I realised that I was way higher than I was supposed to be. Why sometimes I'm at 2500 ft. and it looks like I'm at 2500 ft. and why sometimes not?

At strange airports, this is quite common. Even in real life, pilots tend to be a little higher on their glideslope than usual. The airport elevation (MSL) could be factored into the equation as well; the elevation can throw new pilots off a bit. Cheers, -TwelveYearOldPilot
