When I try to run Version 9 I get the following error: udp_socket_read udp_init failed. How do I fix this?

1. Installed

2. Demo started

3. Window to use b for brakes and F1 or F2 for throttle.  At the bottom, Understand was grayed out and could not click the button.

4. When I started over, I got the error (udp_socket_read udp_init failed!) instead of the b for brakes, etc.

When I've seen that message before it's been because another copy of X-Plane is already running. Did you quit the first launch completely before trying to start over? You might just try restarting your computer to make sure there's nothing hanging in the background.
