My joystick wont show up on X Plane after I have installed.

Question

I recently downloaded the X Plane demo to test out the game before purchasing.

My joystick won't show up when going on the settings and joystick section.

Can someone help me out please. Any advice?

Even if the joystick doesn't have a default config file that ships with X-Plane, it should still show up as a list of axis and buttons with no assignments. Here is an article with a video at the bottom that explains how to set up devices without any configuration.
