why is screen wavy

Question

It doesn't matter if I'm viewing inside or external the picture is wavy. It just started happening. My setup is i7 8700, 16 gigs ram, GTX 1070. Should I uninstall X-plane then reinstall? Thanks for your help

You should not need to uninstall X-Plane unless you've installed plugins that have modified our default files. You can reset preferences or try to update the sim to make sure you have all default files. Here is info on those steps in the manual, but this will differ if you are using Steam (you'll need to verify the file integrity instead of using the updater option for example).

Thanks for the response, I do have a couple of plugins installed. I'll try uninstalling them first.
