Cannot get to the start screen because error messages come up

Question

I loaded up my new copy of Xplane 11 including all updates.  When I start the programme as instructed if gets to a pop up screen with the following message

I cannot load the following files

Resources/shaders/deferred_vert.glsl
Resources/shaders/deferred_frag.glsl

Before I send it back to Amazon for a refund, can this problem be fixed ?

What GPU do you have? There was a bug in 11.20 with some Intel cards that is fixed in the 11.21 beta. I recommend trying that first. Here is info on how to get the beta: https://www.x-plane.com/kb/using-x-plane-11-betas/
