Hey, there's been a couple of issues with XP10 mobile ever since its last update. Having trouble with the APU shouldn't be much of a surprise since 10.8.0. As of now, there's nothing to really do about it but try to restart the simulator or contact XPlane support. I'm having the same problem and I'm sorry to say it appears to not be fixable as of now.
