Loosing mouse on x plane 10

Upon start-up of x plane 10, I lose the mouse, starting with choice of plane and airport, It was working fine before.

I don't have this problem with x plane 11 running on the same computer.

Please provide more information. There have been issues with using Force Touch on Apple computers with X-Plane for example. Sometimes I lose visibility of the mouse when using X-Plane windowed and clicking around brings it back.
