how do I sync Xplane10 with thrustmaster t.flight Hotas4

the xplane 10 software and thrustmaster for pc hardware tests are just fine individually, however they don't work together, any advice?  I have loaded both x-plane discs (as advised), then loaded drivers for the thrustmaster (as advised. the cockpit comes up on the screen, the hardware light is showing in the on position, but doesn't move the plane at all. I have been in contact with the thrustmaster team and tested the joystick combo, and they have now suggested I contact the x-plane team.

Have you configured the individual axes of the joystick, per this section of the manual?

Joystick set up in X-Plane 10 can be a bit complicated. I'd recommend following the steps outlined here in the manual.
