XPlane crashes after upgrading

Question

I've just completed upgrading XPlane to latest version but when trying to launch i'm getting the following error: "Couldn't load the sound bank" 

Veh_planes_read.cpp:2491

I'm running WIN10

Please advice

It sounds like the update didn't complete properly, so you should try it again. Or it could be a problem with a third party aircraft and you will need to update it separately or remove it.

Hi,

This will happen when XP is trying to load more than one airplane with fmod sounds.

Deselect (delete) any AI aircraft at the top of the Flight Configuration window which may have fmod sounds, before loading the flight.
